Yuvraj Singh slams Western Union official as fiancee Hazel Keech is refused money for not being Hindu

Jaipur, Sept1:Yuvraj Singh and Hazel Keech make for one adorable pair and the couple is often seen hand-in-hand at events. Hazel has been seen in films such as Bodyguard and is a famous face in India.

So, when she was refused benefit of wire transfer by an official reportedly due to racial differences, it was shocking. It all began when Hazel took to Twitter to report the behaviour of an official. “Mr Peeyush Sharma @WesternUnion in Jaipur is the most racist person ive met and refused to give money because my name is not “Hindu” enough. Im sickened by the attitude of these people,in front of my HINDU mother + my muslim friend @1NS1A #outrage #racism. My name is Hazel Keech. i am Hindu born/raise. But why does dat matter at @WesternUnion whether2 give me money or no. Oh and fyi, no i didnt get my money,” she wrote in a series of tweets.

Fiance Yuvraj Singh backed her as he tweeted, “Shocking behaviour this is @WesternUnion We all are human beings is that not enough racial discrimination will not be tolerated @hazelkeech” and continued “Mr Piyush Sharma @WesternUnion in Jaipur this behaviour will not be tolerated,we would expect some serious action to be taken against him !”

While indianexpress.com could not independently verify the charge of racism, Yuvraj Singh’s anger was palpable. Hazel and Yuvraj got engaged in November last years and have been inseparable ever since. The engagement was kept hush-hush till the rituals were done in Bali.
