Mysuru, Aug 17: “Sedition is similar to cancer. Before it spreads, we need to root it out. I condemn police lathi-charge on ABVP activists who were protesting against Amnesty India where anti-India slogans were raised,” said RSS Convenor Pramod Muthalik.

Addressing a press meet in Mysuru, Muthalik said, “those who raised Anti-India slogans must be arrested immediately.” It may be recalled that Bengaluru police filed a sedition case against Amnesty India on Monday night for the slogans allegedly raised at the event it organised on August 13. The ABVP activists also protested against Amnesty on Sunday at the United Theological College in the city centre where the event was held. The 90-minute event was held, ostensibly, to interact with a few Kashmiri families who were victims of human rights violations in the state.

He also alleged that banned outfit KFD is behind RSS activist Praveen Poojary’s killing and also asked the state government to ban the SDPI and the PFI organisations.

“I condemn PM Modi’s statement on fake gau rakshaks in the country. Over 90% of cow meat is being exported from our country and it should be stopped. After ModiGovernment assumed power, the donations to the Indian NGO’s from abroad has stopped hence, NGO’s are plotting against Modi,” he alleged.

He welcomed police efforts in nabbing all the accused in RSS activist Kyathamaranahalli Raju murder.
