India In Rio 2016 : Preliminary schedule of Indian athletes in action
Rio de Janeiro, Aug 5: There is a significant time difference between India and Brazil. The New Delhi is 08 hours 30 minutes ahead of Rio. So the events will start in the evening and last until next day morning as per Indian Standard Time.
The opening ceremony of Rio Olympics 2016 will take place on Friday 05 August 08:00 PM as per Brazil Time (BRT), which means on Saturday 06 August 04:30 AM in India. Star Sports is the official broadcaster of Rio Games in India. The 2016 Olympics will be available live across Star Sports Network.
