Deepika Padukone’s bodyguard, Jalal : How he became famous in Social Media?
Mumbai, Aug 30: Most Bollywood celebrities are accompanied by members of their team and bodyguards to media events and awards functions.
Recently, Deepika Padukone’s bodyguard, Jalal, was in the news because the actor tied him a rakhi on Raksha Bandhan this year. Deepika posted a Boomerang video on her Instagram account.
In it, she was seen tying the rakhi to Jalal. She captioned the video, “#raksha#rakshabandhan #thankyoujalal (sic).”
A source reveals that due to the post, Jalal became popular overnight.
“Ever since Deepika posted the video on Instagram, many of his friends and relatives have been calling him. They keep asking him for details about the incident,” says the source.
The source adds that Jalal has started receiving recognition on social media too. “He has accounts on Facebook and Instagram. Members of Deepika’s fan clubs are now following him. He is surprised and humbled with this sudden turn of events. He has informed Deepika about the same.”
The actor’s spokesperson confirmed the news, and said, “Jalal has been working with Deepika for a while now. He was touched and moved by her gesture.”
