3.7 quake jolts Delhi, Haryana; no casualties

New Delhi, Aug 22: A 3.7 quake jolts Delhi and Haryana. The epicetnre of the quake is believed to be Chajjiawas in Haryana. No reports of any building collapse or casualties.

The earthquake was measured at a depth of 16 kms.   The more shallow an earthquake is, the bigger its likely destruction.

The epicenter was Chhajiawas in Haryana.

According to Preliminary Earthquake Report details available on on IMD’s website, the intensity was slight.
